Oops......back into the fold!!!

So. After a few years break I have bought another Beemer - the one I always thought I wanted - 2005 LT.

Still got one Harley but had got rid of the other and the Hayabusa cos I am too old for that and struggle with the riding position!!

Picked her up last night and love her. Rode her to a meeting today...got drowned (good old British summer!!) but sooo easy to ride.

Had been surfing these pages reading every thread to see what I should look for, ask, try etc. so a massive thank you to everyone for enabling me not to look a complete muppet when I went to buy her.

Cheers

Nobby

Welcome to the best forum on the web. Don't forget to take a look at the Hall of Wisdom drop down under Technical at the top of the intro page.

Thumbs up Re: Oops......back into the fold!!!

Welcome. I've gotten a lot of answers to questions I've had just by reading the posts.

Enjoy your '05............sorta wish my '03 was an '05 or newer........maybe one of these days!

Bought used K1200LT number 3. This one is green/teal with 31,369(now 7/29/2018 54,143) miles and is an '02. The first 2 bikes made it to near 150,000 miles.

Due to heart health, the Dr says not to ride under 40 degree air temp. Ugh! Now it is harder to get my 18000 miles a year in just in the summer. Guess that stopped my 20 degree rides now.
