Stupid stupid mistake....be kind
I found the problem and I feel like an idiot. Hopefully someone will learn from my mistakes.
I tested the fuel pressure where the hose enters the fuel rail. 60lbs during starter using the bike's connector, 60lbs with 12V. No answer there. Time to take a nap.
After short nap, I decided to check my valve job. It only need 1 bucket on the EXHAUST cam.
When I opened her and rechecked the torques I found the sprocket bolt on the INLET cam loose. I don't remember touching it, but I must have. Apparently it took about a mile for that un-torqued bolt to loosen enough to stop turning the inlet cam.
I don't think any damage was done. The groove in the cam is perfect and the key on the sprocket is just rounded on the tip. 95% is there.
The bike started right up, sounded good, and no smoke (after usual belch from being on the side stand several days).
John, Mike, thanks for your suggestions. I check both right away.
