Help:Installing Improved Starter Relay

Week end project. I'm going to install the Improved Starter Relay #61 35 7 663 945. On my 2000 K1200LT. The instructions are in german and I don't speak german. Is it straight forward wire color to wire color? Are there any extra or less wires on new relay. Does it fit where the old one was? Anyone done this, if so got any tips. I can get the gas tank off OK, but after that I'm lost.
PS: Anyone instructions in english?

There was a post with pics in the old forum, I'll see if I can hunt it down.

Try this (from the H.O.W. under technical, HOW, maintenance, electrical):

The instructions John referred to will help a lot. I just did mine last month. It wasn't hard at all except getting at the thing. It does require removing the fuel tank. Most of us have opted not to use the supplied Scotchlock and have soldered that one connection. Feel free to PM me while the memory is still fresh if you get stuck.
