Caliper Removed, Bleed from empty help?

2000 K1200LT. Removed rear caliper assembly and had to drain to un-stick one piston. Now no pressure in rear brakes. I know how to bleed normally. How do I do it "from scratch" with no pressure to begin with. Any suggestions will be greatly appreciated.
Thanks.

Mityvac

You can get a base model that will do the trick for under $35.00. There may be another way to do it but this sure makes the job simple, quick and neat.

You can always push fluid from the caliper up to the reservoir with a syringe.

Re: Caliper Removed, Bleed from empty help?

John,
Thank you so much for the syringe suggestion. After searching 3 grocery stores and 3 auto parts stores last night for syringe, I gave up, exasperated.

LIght bulb went on today. Went to a farm & ranch supply store. They all dozens, all sizes.

$3.56 later I'm in the garage fabricating a hose and fitting and 20 min later I was done.

Again, thanks. You had the "just right" idea for me.
