Re: disc changer

Maybe you can get rid of mine too? (Just kidding, it keeps dust off a shelve in the garage)

Re: disc changer

Man I really like the changer...skips once in awhile on the back roads..but hey!
A few times now it stopped working for a bit..no sound then would fire right back up after a min.
Everything else would work,,am-fm/cassette.
anyways I would pay 75 shipped for a back up one...for sure the xtra cassette would be handy.

Re: disc changer

The thing is the changer takes up the same amount of space as my tent, and it offer up six CDs. My 160GB iPod fits in a shirt pocket and holds 500 albums. As a bonus, it doesn't skip and with the changer removed my tent and other things now does. I am not surprised that BMW has a dedicated place for an iPod on the GT and GTL.

I just like having the 6 cd ready to go at any time..and the ease of using it.
I'm serious about the 75 for one if somebody wants to sell!
Just in case mine craps out.
