K1200LT How to secure for trailering.

I just purchased a 2003 K1200LT and am trailering it to Canada. I have moved a number of bikes but am wondering if anyone out there knows where to place the tie-downs?

Also go up to the Technical tab, click on it, go to the hall of wisdom, search for tie down. You will get lots of info.

Re: K1200LT How to secure for trailering.

All good advice.

Forget any trace of knowledge and experience you may have had about tying down a bike by the handlebars... On an LT, the could have expensive consequences.

Also, invest in a few GOOD sets of SoftStraps.
