Before I joined
Before I joined this forum I couldn't fix a sandwich, but now after joining and asking a few questions I was able to replace the main seal on my 2005 K1200LT,(along with all of the tranny seals, clutch, slave cylinder, drill two weep holes, and add some LED lights to the radiator fan horns).
You can see in the pic it is soaked in oil.
Also sent the FD to Charlie for inspection, no signs of failure, but hell it was on floor, at least part of my bike gets to go for a ride.
All in all not that bad of a project.
But I can see why they charge $2400 to do it, I would charge $3500.
