Question ABS Light flashing

I'm a long way from home and the ABS light is flashing. I need to get home quickly. The brakes seem to be fine, can I ride it home safely without hurting anything. I checked the fluid and looked for something around the sensor (clean).

Re: ABS Light flashing

Is most the fluid level in the secondary brake circle. Will go away if you change your rear brake pads. Be careful but I think you can ride home without any trouble and without damaging anything.

Re: ABS Light flashing

The year of your bike 2003 has brake fluid monitor level switches. Most likely it is just a tick low on fluid & should be fine to ride home.

Re: ABS Light flashing

brakes will be still power assisted, but just won't have ABS available.
