Coolant hose question

Hey everyone,

I have a question on the routing of the coolant hose from the rad back to the coolant expansion tank:

How should this hose be routed from the rad past the engine? I see there is a small "hook" that the hose should go through as it comes down from the rad but after that I don't see any other holding/routing clips etc. from there past the engine. My coolant hose rests on the top part of the cylinder head before it goes behind the mid bodywork.

Is it OK if this coolant hose touches part of the engine? Is this the correct routing?

I did search the forms with many posts on coolant flush and fill, but I didn't see anything on this particular hose routing.

Much appreciated.

Todd.

Re: Coolant hose question

I don't remember any additional clips or guides, pretty sure it just lays there but it's been a loooong time since I've peeked in there.
