Brake pads on front are stamped tokico...

There might be a faint stamped BMW symbol in the cast

tokico
Toyo C96F HH

7 655 897

They look just about new...
I bought EBC FA294HH for the replacements before looking at the pads.

Anybody familiar with the brand?

Should I reseat and leave them or just swap out the for the EBC's

thanks for the opinions!

There should be no prob with using g the ebc pads if you need to swap them out.

Courage doesn't always roar. Sometimes it is the quiet voice at the end of the day saying " I'll try again tomorrow".

If they fit and work fine why not use them up and replace with the EBC's when needed? Not a lot of money saved by keeping them, but it is still money saved.

Tokico makes a lot of automotive and motorcycle products. Mostly OE supply to manufacturers.

By the numbers you posted, they are HH which would be the same friction rating as your EBCs.
Unless you think there is something wrong with the pads, just put them back in and use them up.

Depends on how worn they are. @72K on my 05 I still have the original front pads with 33% remaining. On the rears I am on my 4th set and went with EBC at the last swapout.
