Got back a few days ago from the "Pilgrimage to Daytona."
A quick and satisfying 3000 miles after a long, bleak and cold winter!
Now the LT needs new oil.
It was sunny and 35 today so took a quick run around the county to warm up the fluids before changing them.
There I am sitting on the frozen garage floor holding the funnel while the 20w-50 takes its sweet time oozing down into the pan. At 35 degrees it takes awhile. What a PITA.
I start staring at the little hex shapes in the output side of the radiator vents.
I could hook something in there to support the damn funnel. So, while balancing a full funnel of oil, I snaked a cable tie in there and carefully looped it through the hole in the funnelís handle.
Relief came fast.
What had I been thinking so long? Duh.

I canít be the only guy to grow a brain here Ė What do you do?
Oh, BTW, the other shots are what you missed IF you didnít do Daytona!
