Chicane USA ???

Does anyone know if Chicane USA is still around?

I would love to purchase a Tank Bag from them (or used if someone wants to sell one). I tried www.chicane-usa.com and www.chicaneusa.com and it looks like its gone.

Anyone have any info?

Thanks
Ed

Garage
I googled them and found plenty of vendors. I also saw some Chicane bags by Teknic websites. I wonder if they were bought out?

I couldn't do without my Chicane tank bag!

I just called them today and ordered a bag and the big map holder. They said the web site went down and they have to get someone to fix it for them.

303-877-0854 Jim PS maybe some expert could make a trade computer help for bag?

I just talked to Randy last week. You will love the LT bag, he makes the best stuff and he listens to what you like or don't.

Chicane is still alive a well, talked to Randy just today. He has another batch available next week, However he quickly turns them around to dealers, so unless you can wait, I would go the dealer route...

Thumbs down nothing but trouble

I purchased a couple items from them at the last reunion, tank bag and trunk bag. In about 30 days the front hook loop gave in up on tank bag. I tried for three weeks to get ahold of anybody at Chicane, left phone messages and half a dozen e-mails - never a response. Fortunately the sale was made in my MasterCard so I got regress(money back) so I guess I shouldn't complain. But I would have been much happier with a little customer service and a replaced or repaired product. Too bad - other then the loop, construction seems best on the market - but that doesn't count much when there customer service is the worst.

My loop also pulled out. I called Randy and he said as soon as the new batch gets here I will send you one. I had to wait a long time to get the bag originally because he had some problems with customs but it was worth it. He always kept me in the loop and I have enjoyed dealing with him.

Randy just called me yesterday to tell me the new bag is on the way. The only problems I have had with Randy were not his fault, it was customs. He has been great to deal with.

Randy Was a gem with me as well. Very thorough about making sure your not treated like just the next customer and more like a new friend he's happy to do a favor for. I've used the bag for a year now.....can't get the loop to work even though Rand tinkered with it at CCR, but I found that I don't need it at all. I wouldn't think of taking a trip without it.

Chicane Tank Bag

I spoke directly with Randy at about 5pm East Coast time. Ordered a bag and a map case for an additional $20. I asked him if he had a few on hand and he said that he did. Good luck.

I made one call to Randy today, asked two questions re: the larger map case which were promptly answered and ordered the bag. Its being shipped today. It took all of three minutes.
