'03 Linked Brakes

I recently picked up an '03 with only 6,000 miles to replace the (110,000 miles) that was totalled after hitting a deer in '08. The manual says it has link brakes, but doesn't give any more of a description. Does anyone know how they are linked? Do both the hand level and foot level operate 100% of both front and rear? Or is there some percentage split between front and rear?
Thanks any info you can provide,
