2000 and 1999 compatibility?

I found a parted out 2000 LT and I need a few parts for my 99 LT. Mainly, passenger seat and back rest, wind screen, and shifter. Anyone know the compatibility on these parts between the two years?

I know '05 brought some significant changes, but I also know minor changes happen from year to year on everything.

Also...this shop was selling almost everything on a "flooded" LT for $20 a part (auction start)...anything else I should be looking for on my LT with 74K miles?

Here's the BMW Part list...

Re: 2000 and 1999 compatibility?

All the parts you listed are the same on both model years so you should be good.

See if you can get the ABS unit. That would be a coup, assuming the flood did not dammage it, but for just a few bucks it is worth a shot.

Re: 2000 and 1999 compatibility?

The only difference I remember is that if the 99 was not ordered with heated seats the wiring harness was different than 00s which all had the same harness.

I've looked carefully at all of those parts. I saw a lot of corrosion and rust.
