Weep hole question

Thanks John for the videos. Great job!

Question:...is the weep hole for if the slave leaks fluid it won't go into the clutch or is it so tranny fluid won't get into the slave cyl.?

Thanks for the clarification.

Rocket Ron

Re: Weep hole question

the proceedure allows the clutch fluid to escape the housing and seep out rather than enter the clutch past the seal and contaminate the clutch

and to hopefully catch your attention when it leaks on the ground.

Re: Weep hole question

Both. As either one is bad and unchecked will lead to the failure of the other. But for it to really be effective for a small leak you need to look at it once in a while. Other wise for a catastophic failure it does give the fluid a place to go.
