After market shocks; battery install

I bought a new battery and figured I'd install it while I had my bike apart installing new throttle cables.

I removed the old battery after I was done stripping her down.

In order to see if she would run when I was done installing the new cables, I had to install the new battery.

Pix shows that the new battery will not drop in.

rather than start removing what was blocking it, I raised the gas tank.
