Re: Where to mount helmet locks?
Although a cable looped through the eyeport of a full-face helmet can be better security than locking through the strap, I've seen posted elsewhere on this forum how to open the driver's seat if the cable release quits working.
The LP locks look very questionable to me on the LT. Consider how easy it is the remove the LP mount to access the back tire.
I recall seeing bar end helmet locks, but also remember reading they are not high quality.
Inside the top case or pannier is probably the most secure (out of sight, out of mind). Otherwise a cable lock through the eyeport and around a solid part of the bike is the next best option.
