Free bearing journal tool for rear drive install

Just wondered if anyone has found a good place to buy the BMW 30mm socket tool no. 33 6 641. It's the tool used to loosen and tighten the free bearing journal that attaches the final drive to the swing arm.

BMW wants $145 for it. I've found some knock offs for much less but they are in England. Maybe someone has one they want to sell?

PM me if you have one.

Thanks

If you need one, members will lend you theirs. Most of us buy a 30 mm socket and either cut it the way it needs to be or have a machine shop do it.

Courage doesn't always roar. Sometimes it is the quiet voice at the end of the day saying " I'll try again tomorrow".

You can pick up a good socket at any auto parts house for under $20. A good machine shop can cut the slot for about the same amount. If you know someone with air tools a cut off wheel will make short work of the slot.
