Thumbs up Re: mirrors

Your mirrors are what we call brake way, standing on the side of the it, use the palm of your
hand and hit the fiberglass portion of the mirror on its outside portion, but be careful. When you dislodge the mirror from it's three snap clips, the mirror will fall to the ground. So with your free hand get ready to catch the mirror.when you put them back buy accessory tie offs, well
worth the price.Than pry the mirror free from the housing, taking care not to brake the mirror
itself.Under the mirror are screws to remove inners.

Re: mirrors

Yes everything right, but if you like to open it and take the Mirror them self out then you have to watch some things.
Before you start get a bucket with hot Water put some Dish washer liquid in and let the whole thing soak for about 10 Minutes. Then take it out and go with a large Screwdriver under the Mirror, slide this Screwdriver in until you feel a stop on the holder for the Mirror. It's a Plastic Part wath looks like a Crown. Turn your Screwdriver gently to the each side you wont and force the Mirror out of his holder.
Be careful it's coming fast lose don't drop, it will break. If you have the mirror out you can see the screws the hold the whole set together.
Hope could help you, Manfred

Re: mirrors

The only successful way I found to remove the mirror glass without breaking it was to use a folded towel or a nice thick carpet. Place the towel on the floor and hit the mirror, glass side down on the towel, quite firmly. You need a couple of goes to get the courage up to do it firm enough. But it will pop off.

If it doesn't, you're not hitting it hard enough.

Re: mirrors

I pried the mirrors off using a couple of paint stir sticks from the paint store. Whatever you do don't use a screw driver, it doesn't give and will break the mirror. It popped off with a bit of force and went flying. I had some rags for it to land on where it would have hit. I tried the bang it againt the towel on the floor trick to no avail.
