Need your advice - Headset

Following scenario:

You know that I bought a LT for my trip in the States.

It is a 2002 and a real beauty

It has a VOICE system, Streetpilot III and a Midland CB.

The person to person communications on the bike is 8-pin into helmet and the standard 6-pin BMW communications jack.

I have an open face helmet - Schuberth J 1

What kind of headset can I use? Nothing to find on the German market.

best regards from Bavaria

Re: Need your advice - Headset

I have a 2003 LTE with your same system and this is the headset I use.

You choose the lower cord from the pull down our case we need the JM-HC-PJM J&M Integratr/JMCB2003

This is the 6 pin cord connecting to the bike and the 8 pin at the headset.

Re: Need your advice - Headset

All the comm systems Ive seen are rather pricey. Try IMC located in Costa Mesa, Ca. They have a headset that will plug into the BMW system and then install into any helmet for around $90 US.
