We went with these as an alternative. Wife really likes them.

Re: Pillion Floor Boards

Good morning!

+1 on Darius' floorboards for both rider and passenger. Had them for four summers, over 50,000 miles. They even helped save my LT and myself from serious damage when I had to use the left one to 'slide' along on for a bit when I got cut off at an intersection. The board is just scraped on the underside, but no one will see it. I have the lowered and forward version.

But, reading your post again, are you looking for the original foot pegs?

Re: Pillion Floor Boards

Thanks guys for your suggestions, but the wife likes the idea of being able to adjust the boards. The factory ones have this feature.

Really? I've never seen anything like passenger factory floorboards on any year 1200LT. Can ya dig up some pics?

Re: Pillion Floor Boards

I purchased a set of adjustable units from ( I think it Was from Bob BMW) they were to raise and lower the stock pegs.

I had also purchased small foot boards from J c whitney, and adapted them to fit.

Work well for over 40,000 miles.

I will try to get pics over the week end.

Re: Pillion Floor Boards

They were a little over $700 on top of the Bike price when I bought our LT new in 2000. Cheap: No! But they are adjustable and durable! In the attached pic you can see the right one is folded down, and the rubbed top is visible, as is the arm under it which can be loosened to move the board up or down.
