BC button right handle bar switch

Hi - dumb question - new to me 2000 LT no owners manual - what is the round button labelled BC right side controls

I'm thinking that is the computer . Push the button for the display, it is on the left side. You get Temp, MPG , average speed , +??? I forget ... something about fuel . If you get up to a steady speed , put the computer to speed then hit the reset button right under the computer display it will give you your real speed not what the speedometer says.

You might not actually have the computer display on your bike. If that is the case then the switch doesn't do anything.

Thanks for the replies - computer works fine - BC button much handier than using buttons on the computer display itself
