1999 Will not start

I am posting this for my brother David aka DPCRXONE
Has anyone ever experience this problem
Bike turns over fine, actually farts once or twice but never starts
Bike was running fine parked it and 3 days later would not start.
Things checked
1) There is fuel in the lines (Yes there is gas in the tank)
2) Pump turns and comes to full presure (cycles off)
3) Check all fuse ..good

Could it be throttle positioning sensor? If so how to check?

Thanks
Dave

There have been several occasions where a fuel line came loose inside the tank. If you have fire at the plugs, but they are dry it might be worth checking. Or the fuel filter could be the problem. When was it changed last?

#2 has no bearing on pressure - the pump olny runs a short time and goes off. pressure or no pressure. Best to make sure pressure is in the lines to eliminate the fault Jim described.

TPS can allways be reset by pulling the ECU fuse. Then key on, no start, cycle throttle fully open then closed three times, key off then on and attempt start. Not likely your problem though.
