Talking First of many happy days

Well the deed is done. The new to me 07 LT is in my garage. I'm in the process of collecting all the necessary paperwork to get her ready for the road.

I'd like to take the opportunity to thank you all for the warnings and helpful advice especially Mugszy for his help.

Can't stop smiling!

Bought used K1200LT number 3. This one is green/teal with 31,369(now 7/29/2018 54,143) miles and is an '02. The first 2 bikes made it to near 150,000 miles.

Due to heart health, the Dr says not to ride under 40 degree air temp. Ugh! Now it is harder to get my 18000 miles a year in just in the summer. Guess that stopped my 20 degree rides now.

Welcome to what I consider my support group. It becomes an addiction (according to my wife) and when you can't be riding her you will need this group to get you through the day.
She say's I'm sick and need therapy.

If you're even half way handy with a wrench, you can learn all you need to maintain your bike yourself right here on this forum. Even if you have all service done for you at the dealer, it's important to know your way around the girl. Welcome to the asylum, and enjoy the ride!

This skill is just like a gun or a gym membership: Nice to have but you hope you never have to use it!

Two good videos to watch

The second video should be a hot link on the site for everyone to see if need be.

I could play with women or with cars, I find cars are cheaper and you can write a book about cars a guy would understand.
