Marquette, KS Motorcycle Museum

If you have the opportunity to drop by this place sometime take a look. It's about 20 minutes south of Salina which is right on I-70 about in the middle of the state.

I will be riding there this Saturday 8/13. Leaving from 45th and Topeka Kwik-Shop (in Topeka). Kick-stands up at 0800 if anyone wants to drop by and join the ride.

Turnpike south to Emporia and west from there to pick up other riders in Marion and on to Marquette. Lunch at the Solomon Hotel for fried chicken and I-70 back to Topeka. About 300 miles round trip and projected high around 90. Should be a good day.

Thanks for the invite Dean...I have my son coming in Saturday or I would be there. Perhaps another time...

It's a neat place, you'll enjoy it.

I'd reccomend the Brookville Motel for lunch but it's no longer in Brookville (was just north of Marquette). they moved it somewhere else (Abilene, maybe?)
