Front wheel help

Bought a front wheel on Ebay listed for 03 LT. It will not fit my 2000 LT, rubs on anti lock ring. The wheel has markings on it showing 02. Any ideas. Thanks

Re: Front wheel help

Probably a wheel off a machine with power ABS. Your front calipers should say Brembo on them which means they are non-linked non-power ABS. The two systems are different and likely the wheels are not interchangeable.

Re: Front wheel help

The parts diagram at MAX shows two differnet part numbers for the front wheels on 99-04 LT's, One to 01/01 and one from 01/01 on.

Re: Front wheel help

Thought I did my homework on this, 99 thru 03 where the same. Are there numbers or marking on the wheel so this won't happen again? Anybody need a wheel and tire (M880) $260.00 plus shipping.

Re: Front wheel help

Just make sure the next one you buy is off a bike with Brembo calipers, 2002 or older and you'll be ok.
