2006 k1200lr passed away

Today I got ran off the road by teenagers in my lane, im ok but the LT is at the bmw DEALER W/ ALL 3 CORNERS damaged the engine valve cover split in pieces, even the pillon back rest and rear trunk ripped in pieces.

A testomonial for BMW clothing I went down left side pinned my boot in the shifter but i pulled away as the bike headlite was looking at me I came up right onto my soles of my feet standing. The Bmw gear did the trick not a mark on me other than a bruise on my hip.

Glad you came out of it in one piece, hope those teens stopped to see if you were ok. Too many close calls out there and one can never find their horn in time for even a futile attempt of preservation.

Aw Crap Mathew! Sorry to hear of your loss. The good news is that there are other LT's out there and one of them has your name on it.

Glad to hear you are doing fine!

Make sure you get checked out by your doc tomorrow as you will undoubtedly be a little sore after your get off and stand up.

Re: 2006 k1200lr passed away

I'm sorry for the bike and glad that you made it through the lay-down.... Be sure to get a check up as you are under the influence of adrenalin right now... It will wear off and the bumps will start to talk!

I see a K1600 in your future.

I hope the kids get to pay for your bike instead of YOUR insurance...

Glad you weren't hurt and got a stand-up landing...

Glad to hear you came through with relatively little physical damage. Another testimony for ATGATT. Now, how long is the waiting list for a K1600.....

Re: 2006 k1200lr passed away

Glad to hear that you are OK. I would make sure I had a through check up in the next few days.
I remember meeting you & the SO in Havre MO back in 2009 & you had your Uni-Go, that was a nice setup being it was the the same colour as my 06LT.

Hope you get back on the horse soon.
