Question Radio volume

I'm new to bmw community and would appreciate any help with a radio problem .
I purchased a 2003 k1200lt with a non working radio . I purchased a dice ipod set up and me and a friend took the bike apart installed dice replaced antenna wire that was broken which fixed the radio and put bike back together , everything works BUT the radio volume is very low when I'm riding the bike , when I switch over to ipod the volume is blasting .
Thanks Bill

Re: Radio volume

I'm no sure but you may want to lower the default volume on the ipod. Just a guess.

Re: Radio volume

Bill,

You might want to check the radio setting for speed volume, there is an adjustment you can set that increases the volume as your speed increases and it helps offset road noise.

I don't have the instruction at hand but if you go up to the intro page on the forum , select the Technical drop down, select Hall of Wisdom you should find the info there. And a whole bunch of other info you will need sooner of later.
