Bubble covers for weather protection

We moved to SC near the ocean and I am concerned about the salt air. I have been looking at various solutions and am considering a "bubble" cover. Anyone have and advice or experience with these? An example of one can be found at:

Thanks!

Re: Bubble covers for weather protection

Don't know about the bubble, but have lived near the ocean in SC for 28 years. If you are within four or five blocks, the salt air is unstoppable. Washers and dryers inside the house, anything metal. I lived seven blocks away and never had a problem. Have been eight blocks away now for 12 years and while it will affect light cheap metals in my garage, have seen no problems with bikes or cars.
