Re: Final Drive Bering
Myself and other engineers have looked into that in great detail, but there is no available bearing on the market that will fit without MAJOR re-design. The bearings used are already high quality bearings made by major manufacturers (FAG and SKF). It does not seem to be a bearing problem anyway, but likely an installation issue at time of final drive assembly. Improper shimming, or improper application of installation pressure both likely suspects. Chasing the dream of a "better" bearing is nothing more than wishful thinking.
