Smile Fuel Storage Question

Putting Jenna to bed for a couple of months. Can't seem to find a fuel stabiliser here in UK, something like SeaFoam for example.
My question.
95 RON verses 98 RON. Not for performance issue, just stability in the tank over say
4 or 5 months. Last time we left 6 Lts which was drained when we returned. Added an injector cleaner with the new fuel and every thing was great.

Know to steer clear of ethanol.

Any thoughts about this from more knowledgeable folks.

TIA

Cheers

Re: Fuel Storage Question

The octane rating has nothing to do with the fuel longevity unless the higher octane is achieved using alcohol, then the storage life is shortened. Here in the U.S. lower octane is generally used the most and therefore much more likely to be fresher coming from the pump. Go with the most common fuel used and it should be the most recently refined.

Yep, Snow and Ice, isn't nice. After all we were in a container.
Working with tools that cold ( -3℃ was the worst ) is just ridiculous,
not easy but we managed OK. All buttoned up and purring again.
Hoping to be in HKG next weekend.
Saw the trailer, what's the verdict ?

Dean,
Thanks for the thoughts about fuel, much as I suspected

Cheers

Re: Fuel Storage Question

Verdict is good, happy with the way it handles (even did a run up from Sussex Inlet through Kangaroo Valley to Moss Vale, fully loaded.. you can imagine what thats like!)
About 10 minutes from stop to in-bed if need be.... I like that.
Will be hiring it for the 9 weeks trip.

Have a great time in HK! Best to Rena.
