Just for reference...

Good day!

Just had a new rear tire(metzeler) installed by the dealer, good people and all. The total came to $312.69 for the labor: $59.25; parts: $224.60; shop supplies: $5.68; tax: $23.16.

Also, I have been having that issue with the gear position sensor, but the dealer has stated that it is a bad batch this year, and they have put at least three in so far, and all have done the same thing: Neutral, 1 and 2 almost never show on the dash, 3 works on deceleration, and 4 & 5 only shows on acceleration.

Of course all I care about it neutral (0), so that I can use reverse and the center stand.

Thanks in advance for any info!

Re: Just for reference...

A "bad batch"? hmmmm...

Well, if you had another one, say, off a broken bike, thye could put it on your bike... and call it "diagnostic time"... ... just to be "sure" it was the switch, ya know..
