part number help

Could someone help me with a part number. I've looked at the parts catalog but I'm unsure of correct number.

I'm going to replace my clutch slave cylinder. Treating it as a routine maintenance item. I'm going to replace the input shaft seal as well. Currently collecting up part numbers for all needed parts in order to get them ordered.

I think I'm good to go except for the input shaft seal number; the seal behind the clutch slave cylinder. Could someone help me with this?

Thanks John. And thanks for your weep hole drilling video! I'll be doing that at the same time. I have a repair manual, but it sure is nice to see a video with hands on.

Re: part number help

John,
If 085 is the part number for the seal at the slave cylinder, Do you know the part number for the drive shaft seal (at the back of the transmission)? Is it 23 12 2 3230 135?

Re: part number help

Dan,

It is the 25 x 40 x 6. The last one I bought was a 23121340324 but I see it has been superceeded by a 23122330135.

Re: part number help

Go to this parts fische and scroll down to #23....that's what I used and you can purchase them at BeemerBoneYard!

You asked for "clutch slave cylinder, here's the PN & cost on the fische:
21522333433 OUTPUT CYLINDER CLUTCH - D=20 0.32 1 $134.25

Good luck!
