Has anyone used these heated handgrips?

Wondering if anyone used this heated handgrips element over their OEM grips? Looking at replacing my element and wiring into the current harness. Any thoughts?

Re: Has anyone used these heated handgrips?

I used them on a Suzuki Bandit I had about 8 or 9 years ago. I found them fairly easy to install, and they had two settings - hot and even hotter. I also found out you should put tape on the throttle side for insulation or one side gets much hotter than the other without it. All in all I thought they were a good value and worked well enough.

well it seems that they are reliable just concerned about wiring it to the current switch on the bike.

I have something similar on my FJR, the ones I had were marked throttle and clutch, I assume for the insulating factor, stuck them on over the oem grips and then put Grip Puppies over them, work great.

I've got them on two different bikes. They work very well.
