Re: where are my PIAA lights?

Man! That is some jury-rigged deal you've got there!

PIAA makes a switch arrangement that operates off the turn signal cancel switch. It's about $30.00 more, I believe.

I'd get rid of the Rube Goldberg setup ASAP. I would be extra cautious about any other "maintenance" the previous ower did our had done.

Good Luck

Actually the switch you are speaking to, is not Piaa. Autoswitch is more likley the MFG.

Speaking to the OP's question. It would appear that it is. To test put an ohm meter to it and hit the switch. More than likely the other is tapped up against a support bar as mine was when I purchased it. Worst case, next time (or first time) you get to a tupperware party, make sure to look for it so you know it is there. You will need a pair of mounts. Call Jim up to get a set then keep an eye out for 1100x Piaa There is a pair for $100 now. You may have to mate the connections, but if you are lucky it will be a plug and play as mine was.

The picture of the bar has the standard switch that comes with Piaa lights, the second arrow I am unclear what you are asking as it appears to be nothing more than a spacer put in the mirror hole...

Either way, you are leaning the old girl. Treat her good, treat her bad. You are in for one hell of a ride! Just don't slap her ass or pull her hair.......oh, we were talking about the bike still...oops!

Re: where are my PIAA lights?

The switch for my piaa lights looks somewhat like that on the bar, like the previous poster said, stick a voltmeter in the plug, and hit the switch, may get power indicating that it is for the extra lighting.. the post is probably for some type of cup holder, or mount for some extra electronic farkle or something.....Make sure you are getting plenty of riding in before getting bogged down on the small stuff....Good luck and good riding
