I would say go on Flea Bay, Craig's List, Cycle Trader, anywhere you can search bike specific and see what they are going for, not the asking price, but the selling price.

You probably are not going to like what you see and hear on the value of your bike not matter where or who you get answers from. NADA and Kelly are not very kind to us either.

These just do not hold resale value worth a lick.

Re: What's it worth

I live in the DC area. I paid $12k for a nicely equipped 2005 with 19000 miles last December.

Good luck

Re: What's it worth

Here is a great site that will help you determine what you should be selling the bike for...
http://craiglook.com/ just type in K1200lt into the search bar, and it will tell you all LT's posted on craigslist across the country. You can also add the year in front of the model, and it will give you year specific. A good place to start

RICH CANNON
2000 K1200LT "a great ride"
2002 GL1800 powerful, but boring..(gone)
1979 XS1100 (gone)
1986 VT500 Ascot (gone)
1972 Honda 500-4 (gone)
1961 Lambretta (way gone)
1962 Allstate Compact (gone but not forgotten)
