Plexus and a match?

Standing around the dealer jabbering with a parts guy and the conversation turns to Plexus.

He says something about spraying it on and hitting it with a match.

I think, huh? The conversation moves on before I ask what he's talking about.

I wonder what this would do?

Re: Plexus and a match?

I'm one of those "show me" kind of guys. I'd pick up a bottle of Plexus and hand it to the parts guy so he could demonstrate the effectiveness of the product..... on HIS ride. I would even provide him with the match!

Let us know how this goes!

Let's see 23% petroleum distillates, 3% propane, 12% isobutane....
I'll vote with the crowd, would probably make an impressive flame thrower, but wouldn't want it close to a bike.

What an idiot-was he about 25yrs old. Saw someone do it on TV? Sometimes I gotta laugh at the stuff people say. Always have someone on the road while riding my Duc say--gee is it broken mister? "If I have to explain-you wouldn't understand"!!!

Re: Plexus and a match?

At what it cost a can, I use it on my shield, glasses and visor, period.

Maybe he or his boss have enough money to play like that, but I don't.

What a wast of a good product.

Re: Plexus and a match?

I used to burn ants and spiders by holding a match in front of WD40, I don't think this would be any more remarkable.

Re: Plexus and a match?

Jeez,

Three day weekend, all that beer and nobody tried this?

Don't forget your video camera if you're ready to try this. It might be the next coke/mentos thing.

Or it just might sting like a sunburn...

Re: Plexus and a match?

My bro in law had a similar thought in high school, but with hair spray and a match. He lit a girl's hair on fire in nothing flat. experiment was a success????
