Question Cutting the seat back for legroom

Looking to change me seat pan and make it push all they back to the locking pcs. Take about two inches out of the back seat?.... Has anyone tried to do this in the passed. I have my seat on the higher setting and suburban peg lowers, even with xl jpegs I still am very cramped for legroom. I have spider legs that have 35" inseam and looking to gain every place I can.
