Strong gas smell

My bike fell off the kickstand and stayed down for about two hours before I picked it up. When I started the bike, it, of course, pumped out massive amounts of blue smoke for about five minutes. The problem is that now I'm getting a very strong gas smell when I run the bike. This has been going on for the past three outings. Any thoughts?

Re: Strong gas smell

Check the quick disconnect joints at the fuel lines below the fuel tank.

Why would anyone name their dog "Mistress"? (Their motorcycle or boat maybe.)

I actually experienced this as a youngster at my grandpa's farm in Arkansas. (not that anybody cares ) But anyway I was glad I was standing back since its more like Old Faithful going off than just pissing. Now see, this forum isn't just mechanical/technical....it's educational too!
