brake pads

Don't know if I'm interpreting "hall of wisdom" correctly.

Would EBC's at BeemerBoneYard be the right choice or is there something else I should look at?

Thanks!

Re: brake pads

Yep. Those are the way to go. I use them on my LT's and my GS. Way cheaper than OEM

I do not think beemerboneyard carries ebc brake pads, I might be wrong. I recently bought front and rear pads from www.ronayers.com, decent prices and quick shipping.

Courage doesn't always roar. Sometimes it is the quiet voice at the end of the day saying " I'll try again tomorrow".

Looks like they sell the Carbon Lorraine.

Haven't tried those. Have had good results from the EBC's

Re: brake pads

I have been using the Carbon Lorraine pads. So far they are quiet as a mouse. I did bed them in appropriately. Click-Clicky.

Re: brake pads

I have been using the Carbon Lorraine pads and think they are as good or better than the OEM's.

My wear on the CL's vary. I may get only 15k out of the rear - but that's me. I live in the Sierra Foothills, and (especially when wifey isn't along) drive it like I stole it. The back pads literally take 5 minutes to replace.

Front usually last me longer, and I use the front much more than the back of course. I think I got more than 25k out of my last set of fronts.
