2003 LT Elite alarm key fob

My friend lost the alarm key fob to his '03 LT Elite he just bought. Bike defaults to armed and he has to put in the code that was under the radio to get it started each time.

We have a friend with an '05 LT that has two fobs. Can we sync one of the '05 fobs to the '03 bike? To change the default mode we need a working fob.

We have to get this sorted PDQ as were leaving for a trip the day afte X-max. Any advice will be much appreciated.

Anyone have a key fob they want to sell?

Thanks.

I confimred the '05 and '03 key fobs are the same part number so we should be good to go. If anyone wants to sell a fob send me a PM. Thanks.

Re: 2003 LT Elite alarm key fob

I don't ahve a spare FOB, but, I did lose mine out of the center compartment at 85 and was able to find a brand new one at Beemerboneyard. Something liek $25.00. It was brand new as well.

Send out a few e-mails and make a couple calls, you mey get lucky.

The actual programming was easier than I feared.

Good luck,
