HID install not working - any ideas?

Just done a hid install, both high and low beams. The kit was this one, that seems fairly vanila: -

http://www.convert2xenon.co.uk/bmw-x...rsion-kit.html

Plugged it all in and nothing. No low beam, no high beam. Can't see what I'm doing wrong as it seems the standard install, but I can't believe both units are defective.

Any way to test what's wrong?

Help appreciated as I would like to try my new helmet.

Congratulations!
Now go riding! (I am guessing you are not in the NE, where ice pellets are coming down right now - you may want to update your profile to show your location).

Ok, have done.

I'm in Switzerland and am checking the roads to see if it's safe. It's been snowing today but mostly not settled. Might go for quick spin to check it out and my new helmet.
