K1200LT Trunk Dissassembly

Just a note to anyone that had the same problem I did replacing the trunk wiring on my 2005 K1200LT. When you remove the weatherstrip between the inner and out cases on the bottom section of your trunk you still have to be very careful to cut the silicone holding the inner case to the outer case. It will feel really solid and I drilled looking for some blind screws but there aren't any. Cut the silicone sealer and "carefully" pry the two pieces apart. They will finally pop apart put be careful not to crack the plastic(ABS) when prying. Have fun and good luck it is a challenge. If I can help at all give me an e-mail at [email protected]. Thx Tom
