K1200LT Seats

Hi,

I have a 99 K1200LT with heated seats, they are a bit scruffy and I was wondering if seats from any other years will fit.
Hope someone can help.

Andy Smith

Found the answer in a thread - thanks

Re: K1200LT Seats

Hey Andy,

I believe 99 through 04 are the same, 05 to 09 will not fit.

Re: K1200LT Seats

Any year will fit - you might need to do a little minor trimming and adjustment.

Re: K1200LT Seats

What I have learned on this site over the last few years is that you could bolt a standard or comfort seat up to 2004 to your bike without modifications. You would have to trim the top of the side panels if you were to install the low seat version. Not sure how the 2005 and up seat would fit, but it is certainly more narrow with less surface area to sit on (ie, less comfy).
