Strapping an LT to a lift

Just got a new lift, and wanted to know if anyone has a picture of the proper way to strap the girl on?

Note: Motorcycle straps... NOT the Marilyn Chambers kind...

Re: Strapping an LT to a lift

I strap mine following the tie-down instructions for a trailer. Such as:

http://www.bmwlt.net/ubbthreads/show...&sb=5&o=0&vc=1

Unless I'm doing something underneath like an oil change, I also sling a strap through the front wheel and center stand to prevent the big girl from an accidental roll off. I've dropped my GS while trying to push it on the lift, and I definitely don't want that experience with the LT.

Do you have the tire vise on your lift? I do on my Handy lift and only strap the front of the bike down unless I am removing the front wheel and then naturally you should tie the rear down at that point. Without the tire vice I would probably strap all four corners. Don't want to try and bench press 800 + lbs..

I also use the tie down points listed for trailering.
