Bulb Replacement

Anybody know which bulb replaces the 1077 used in the brake light?

1077 is a GE European designation. GE cross references it to a GE P25-2 or a Philips 12499.

Mitch,

Not too sure about other years, but it seems that an industry standard 1157 bulb will work. I know I have a couple in mine and they work without issue. (It's an 01)

That is probably just fine on the LT, but on BMW cars an 1157 will cause bulb check warnings on the dash display. BMW cars use sensing on all the lights to let you know if one is out, and which one, and the different resistance of the 1157 will often trigger the warning message. Experience speaks.
