Idling High

G'day all

I have now finally got my LT back from a mechanic mate where my foray into home maintenance came to a screaming halt when I broke one of the sensors in the reverse switch om reassembly and disabled the motor. Seems the computer thought that it was already in reverse and refused to turn over.

Now I'm in the process of putting her back together and on starting the bike revs up to around the 3200 RPM mark. Is there any way of dropping the revs back down to the 950 mark without resorting to plugging in a tester at a BMW shop?
