GXM question

This may get bumped to the GPS sub-forum, but I thought I would ask here first.

Has anyone tried to connect two GPS units, (both Garmin), to one GXM antenna, (via a usb splitter)?

TIA

George I recall this being done with success by someone on LDR GXM 30 antenna.

Re: GXM question

Two-way radios do this all the time, but the correct hardware and antenna are required to keep the Tx signal out of the other unit. Best to get in contact with one of the manufactures or a good two-way radio shop.

Thanks Pete. I guess that means you won't be joining us this year for the little ride?

Re: GXM question

I run the GXM30 to a single 550. I sort of doubt you will be able to do what you want without an active USB hub somewhere in the mix.
