bakup backrest issue

Has anyone else had a problem with the protective edge strips coming off their backrest and leaving an incredibly sticky residue? Mine have come loose and it is making quite a mess, have cleaned it with goo-gone, but need to reattach, any suggestions?

Re: bakup backrest issue

Mine did the same thing. Gorilla glue should do the trick.

Like wise. I ended up lacing them on with some flat waxed cable lacing. I don't know what they used in the first place but it does leave quite a gooey mess.
