BMW Radio Display acting up- battery or problem?

Every now and again when I turn on the bike the radio display will show the bass, treble, balance, fader to be off (Bass -6, Treble -6, Balance -6, Fader -6... something like that). However, the sound is fine. If I cycle through the display settings once or twice it goes back to displaying normally.

Anyone experience this? I'm thinking it may be my battery is getting weaker (I haven't been hooking it up to the tender in a while since I ride it almost every day), but maybe it's a defect that's been seen before.

As alwyas, Thanks in advance.

Haven't seen that one before. Could be a flakey switch in the RCU. IIRC that is the one with the musical note on it. Don't think a low battery would cause that before it had your ABS going goofy.
